It appears, my dear Captain, that you have escaped being summoned before the Admiralty Council this time. Let us pray for calm waters with a steady wind during our continued journeys.
A good time was had with mirth and celebration during our furlow in Port Deptford. Supplies are being loaded and secured. All should be completed within the hour. The crew be chomping at the bit to return to the open sea. Awaiting your command as always.

The seas have been good to us the the past few days with calm waters and strong winds. Continuing our journey back to Pevensy. If the winds continue, we should see the coast in a few days. No ships have sighted on the horizon. The crew are in high spirits. Be it that we are headed back to port or the anticipation of an encounter?
A full ships inventory is being conducted by the Chandler for whence we hit port. Their majesties will be expecting a full account of acquisitions upon our arrival. On a side note, the Captain appears to be in better spirits as well with a return of color. He apparently has found his sea legs again though none of the crew dare call him on it for fear of taking on the Captain.

Two men have been dispatched from the ship. One to her Majesty Queen Elizabeth to arrange for a meeting at her next scheduled stop of progress and the other to the French and Scottish Embassy informing them of our arrival and request for an audience to settle accounts.
The remain crew are anxious for shore leave being away from home for such long of a time. Current standing orders: No leave granted until the majority of the repairs are completed. A full account of stores done and preparations for their Majesties review of pilage has been completed. It was expressed that a keg of rum will be distributed if all is done two days hence from now.

The Captain has been informed that her Majesty will be stopping at a nearby town for a few days. She is eagerly expecting to hear of our recent adventures and conquest.
It seems word of our return has spread quickly. For I am told that a letter was already prepared upon the arrival of our messenger to the French and Scottish Embassy. Apparently both King Henri and Queen Mary are in the midst of travels. Word was sent that they will be altering their respective schedules to meet personally with the Captain. We are now awaiting further word from the Embassy as to the time and location of the meetings. Let us pray that it be not on the say day. For our Captain shall have much to answer for if such occurs. Needless to say, Her Majesty, Elizabeth shant be too happy with myself for having dealings with the French for it would be considered treason to the Crown of England. With incentive, the final preparations are almost complete and ahead of schedule. A wagon and horses have been arranged for the journey to pay our respects to Queen Elizabeth as so requested.

Submitting our reports this season proved to be a challenge. What was learned was a given. Their Majesties schedule is NOT set in stone. Like their moods, it can change on a whime. Never the less, our dear Captain has survived with head intact for now.
Narrow it was at times when a collision of His Majesty, King Henri and Her Majesty, Queen Mary of Scots crossed paths not more than feets away from our Captain and myself during a gentlemenly game of Tower. The signs did hold truth for in the winds were heard the sounds of Amazing Grace being played on the bagpipes as the Captain was summoned before Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth to present his acquisitions. Narrowly escaping Inquisitions our Captain did for unknownst to him, the Monarchs were slowly arriving to an invitation of tea at Court Glade. The Captain must be a cat of the seas for he doth appear to have nine lives. What miracle pray he will come up with when all nine lives have been claimed?
